Idol White Reviews: Don’t Buy This Product…
…Before You’ve Read This Idol White Reviews!
You’ve got yellow teeth and dream of a bright white smile? You want to attract attention with that celebrity smile? Well this Idol White Reviews are here to answer if this product could be any good for you.
If you arrived here, you are probably considering getting a teeth whitener that really works (whether Idol White or any other product). If not, don’t waste time reading further. I took the time to investigate this product and the company selling it.
So What Is Idol White Exactly?
Idol White is a teeth whitening pen. The “pens” come in a box that reminds me of toothpaste packaging. There are 2 pens per box. Pens contain gel with active ingredients, which is dispensed on the applicator by twisting the based of the pen.
The active ingredients are listed here:
- Glycerin (for delivering teeth whitening agents deep into the enamel, for fast result)
- Hydrogen Peroxide (an extremely gentle acid with oxidizing properties that act like a bleaching agent)
- Carbomer (another teeth whitening agent)
- Sodium Hydroxide (a pure white solution)
- EDTA (for removing the toxins that contribute to a yellow smile)
- Peppermint Oil (for the taste and freshness)
- Sodium Saccharin (for the taste)
The combination of those ingredients works pretty much the same as when you bleach a white blouse, except than here first it is not harmful at all for the enamel, and second the taste that the application leaves in your mouth is really nice and fresh.
How Does Idol White Actually Work?
When using Idol White teeth whitening pen, you’ve got to make sure of a few things. It’s not like you can just pop it out of your back, apply it on your teeth and WOW perfect smile! It’s definitely not like a lipstick which you can apply anytime with immediate results.
First of all, you’ve got to brush and floss your teeth. This is to ensure the best penetration of the product active ingredients into the enamel of your teeth. Oral hygiene is essential for the perfect smile so don’t rely exclusively on a product you buy. I recommend reading “Oral Health” on Mayoclinic.com.
I have tried applying it at different times of the day. But then it all depends on what you eat and drink. If you are really serious about getting the perfect smile, cut your teeth staining food intake (coffee, tea, red and black fruits, anything that has food coloring inside including sodas…). Drinking an espresso after applying Idol White is not going to do any good to the brightness of your smile. Also avoid smoking. If you are a smoker, I always recommend switching to e-ciragettes (they actually save your health and cost half the price of tobacco cigs).
The best application times that worked for me are in the morning after breakfast (it makes me start the day very confidently), before any important meeting or date, and just before going to bed. It’s amazing how much Idol white can boost your self-confidence; the fresh taste plus knowing your smile is getting brighter is really motivating, even if it is just a placebo effect. Just always make sure to brush and floss your teeth before any application, to ensure better penetration of the ingredients.
What Is Unique About Idol White?
First of all you may ask if it is the only teeth whitening product in the market. No it is not. I have tried a few more similar products such as i Brite, Alta White, Magic Smile, Zoom!, White & Go… I should actually write a comparative review for all of those. What I prefer about Idol White compare to those mentioned above is 1) the much whiter results that you get and 2) the taste it leaves in the mouth.
Every time I try a new products I take photos. Photos the day I receive it, and then every few days to monitor the progress and make sure I can see how good it works. And it is very motivating to see the improvements.
So in my opinion, Idol White is not new or revolutionizing the teeth whitening process, but it happens to be efficient and reliable, and agreeable to use too.
What are the Real People Saying About Idol White?
Idol White is a product endorsed by Kim Kardashian and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney. I have nothing against the Kardashian sisters; they all achieved very good live, but to be honest I don’t really trust celebrity endorsement. I am not saying it’s not genuine, but we all know there are some marketing involved behind this as well as probably juicy pay checks. When it comes to reviewing a product, I always check what the “real” people are saying about it, on sites like eBay or Amazon.
Read what people are saying about it:
I picked the most representative testimonials. Quite a few of them were mentioning that the pens were leaking. However this was in early 2011 and it seems this problem is not happening anymore since the past 12 months. Some other “issue” that was reported is that the results would not show instantly. I mean come on! Yes we all want instant beauty, but this is not happening like in the movies. I know the marketing people tend to make us believe sometimes (all the time?) in very quick results, but you’ve got to be realistic and keep your feet on the ground. It took me 4 days to start seeing noticeable results. But then it keep getting better and better. Anyway, overall rating of the product is mostly 4 and 5 stars. You can’t avoid shipping problem or sometimes one defective product could have made it through the quality screening. This is true for any product unfortunately.
How Much Does Idol White Cost?
Idol white is available with 2 different FREE offers. The basic offer (one box of 2 pens = one month supply) is $39.95 and doesn’t get any ‘special’.
If you buy 2 months supply (2 boxes) for $79.95 you actually get one extra box for free ($40 saving).
But if you get 3 months supply (3 boxes), you get an extra 3 FREE boxes ($120 saving)!
Let’s face it never buy 6 months supply of anything in advance. But then I had the smartest idea ever: I called 2 of my girlfriends, and we pooled to buy the 3 + 3 FREE offer. Bottom line: we got 2 months supply each for the price of one!
Even if you don’t find friends prior to ordering it, it is fairly easy to resell. For example, when you get 6 months supply, each box actually costs you around $20. If you resell it at let’s say $30, the buyer still saves $10 if she were to buy just one box and you make a profit! You can actually pay for your own supply that way and also make others benefit from a lower price. That’s girls power!
